Use the remote or Bose app power the soundbar on or off.

The soundbar does not have a power button on it. Of the two buttons on the soundbar, the left button toggles the voice assistant microphone off and on, and the right button activates the voice assistant (Alexa, once configured) when the microphone is not disabled.
On the remote, the button at the top (above the TV icon) will toggle the system's power state.
In the Bose app, tap the Power button. If this button is not shown, tap the product control icon $\"icon\"$ in the lower-left corner.
Tip: If you have more than one Bose app-compatible speaker, tap the My Bose icon $\"icon\"$ in upper-left corner then select the product to be controlled.
